2. When did you start playing Netball?
3. Who inspired you to play Netball?
4. Which game was the most scariest for you?
5. Does any of your sibling play Netball?

Spiders Are Listening To You...

Well did you know that spiders can hear what you're saying? "Creepy right!" But what is the weirdest thing is that spiders don't have ears. The U.S and Israeli scientist where suppose to test them out for something else but then actually found out some alarming facts. The researches say that the little tiny hairs on the spiders are the course of why the spiders can hear. Spiders can only hear sounds from just a few centimeters away.

The World Of Samoa

The Flag Of Samoa
Where I come from is called Samoa, the most beautiful islands of all from my opinion. Well, have you ever been to Samoa? Well, you should because they have the most beautiful beaches. The capital letter of Samoa in Apia and also Savaii is the biggest island of seven islands in total. And for a fact it says that Samoa has been formed 7 million years ago which was way before your Great Great Great Grandmother and Grandfather has been born.

Matareva Beach

What my mother told me is that the most popular beach in Apia is called Matareva Beach. Matareva is in the Southern Coast of Upolu Samoa about 1708 people have been to Matareva Beach which is very lucky of them. Comment down below if you think you will like to be here with your family?

STOP THE PLASTIC BAGS!!

As I was on Kiwi Kids News I found out that the Government is going to banish plastic bags in the next 6 months. Who thinks that Plastic Bags should be gone, well I think so because it is killing our sea animals and our land. So we should obviously STOP using PLASTIC BAGS and use the useful ones so that it can make our world beautiful. Well, comment down below if you think we should stop using PLASTIC BAGS.

The Extraordinary House (Scary Version!)

Image result for haunted house

long time ago the legend tells a lady named Annie lived here for 25 years. Alongside her husband (Norman), he had built the entire thing himself. They lived far, far away from the nearest town. They always spent a lot of time with each other and eventually, they grew old together. One day a teenage girl came by seeing signs saying. “GO BACK!” She got interested by why it was there.

The next day she went back. She arrived in the same spot to find the sign had surprisingly disappeared. After rubbing her eyes and taking another look, the sign reappeared. It was told that she fearlessly moved on only to find the house.’OUCHH!!! She had tripped on a rock.

After a while, the sun was setting and she was still yelling for help. It was no use. She pulled out her phone and discovered there was no signal. Something appeared in the distance. She tried to get up but eventually, her ankle has given her no rights to stand up. She looks back to what she had seen but there was no sign of the mysterious thing so she goes back to her phone and tries to get signal but there was no point.

On the very day she has been staying in the same spot for 2 hours she had no signal and no one was around. She suddenly looks at the fence and sees two bodies hanging on the wire she panics and tries to get up but then ABRUPTLY…

The Mysterious Tree

The Mysterious Tree

One day a mother of one son named Author has passed away from her abusive husband. The husband killed her because he hated her. They always argue and fight. The son was very lonely and had no one by his side. He lived under a very special tree. The father that killed the wife went to another woman and made kids of two. The father never cared about the son so he left him. One day Author woke up next to his tree hearing voices coming through his ears. He thought he was dreaming but wasn’t. He gets up and goes to the park and thinks about his mother taking him their everyday. He goes to the swings and imagines about his mother pushing him, he cries then goes back to his tree when he hears a voice saying. “Don’t cry my darling everything is going to be just fine.” He looked around the area and gets confused. Then he hears little voices going round and round his ears, he was quiet and confused. He looks at the tree and has his curious face. He tries to go back to sleep but still hears voices he looks at the tree mysteriously. He looks at the tree then sees the wind going through the leafs one of the leaves came down on Author's head, he takes it and looks at it he turns it around and sees a little note...
To Be Continued...
(What could the note be?)

Color Code

Color Code
S = Statement =Yellow
E = Explanation =Green
E = Example =Blue

Introductions
If you want to know how to be a good friend then I would be showing you
3 ideas of how to be a friend that everyone would love to have.

First Idea
The first idea of how to be a good friend is to give them respect. The
reason why this should be one of the ideas is because you never
know what they are going through in their lives so you should always
respect them. For example your friend just finished having a real hard
test and all they want is just to relax and then you come up and give
them a bad attitude towards that friend and that is not what your friend
would want.

Second Idea
A good friend should always stay by their side because a friend
should always know what is happening with that person. No one
would like to have a friend that will just leave them alone by themselves.
For example your friend is always having a bad day and you never knew
about it and you kept on leaving her alone how would you feel if that was
you. You wouldn’t like it would you so then you should always be with you
friends no matter what.

Third Idea
What I would definitely want in a friend is that they are honest. Why
I think that is because friends should always tell the truth it is not fair
that they go of and start telling lies about that friend it’s just not fair at all so
you should always know if it’s the right thing to do. For example friends should
always be telling good things about you not bad ones because you won’t
know if it had something to do with you. So always be honest to your friends.

Conclusion

Their you have 3 ideas of how to be a good friend. I would be delightful if
you use these 3 ideas to how to be a good friend. If you know you haven’t
been doing these things then you should go up to your friends and do it.
And remember treat your friend as how you would want to be treated.

I got the opportunity to mark my own writing test and it was something very interesting to do cause we never get the chance to do it. As you can see we had to color code all our Statements into Yellow and our Explanations in Green and our Examples in Blue.

How To Be A Good Learner

Learning is a very, very important part of your childhood. As we grow up we will learn more and more, more than we thought we did, but to learn you must have to concentrate and focus. Today I will be giving you ideas of how to become a good learner. Well let me show you in the following paragraphs.

The first thing about being a good learner is being organized. What I mean by this is that when everyone moves into their classes you must have the right equipment to use in your learning. For example you would need to bring a pencil, rubber, and a ruler so that you can learn more.

Another idea for being a good learner is to value collaboration. Which means to work together as a team. The reason why you should do this is that there might be a subject that you will not understand and that there will always be a partner there to help you out.

Never giving up is also a good way of beginning a good learner. This means if your teacher gives you an activity you should always do it and to try your best. For example you might have a test coming up and you would want good grades well the only thing for you to get good grades is to never give up and to try your best.

There you have it 3 ideas of how to be a good learner. It would be my pleasure for you to use for school including you students like me.

My White Sunday!

I had my white Sunday this week and it was differently fun! White Sunday is where you get parts from the bible and try to speak it in your own language. I had to speak the beautiful language Samoa.

I go get ready and change into my Puletasi with my handmade Pale. I am absolutely excited to go up the stage and show how hard my group has prepared our performance for. "Let's Go!" Says, mom. I go to the car and start off. All I could think about is if I got my part sorted and if I could say it properly.

We are at church and I see people with there beautiful clothing. I go to where all the family is. Then I could see everyone with there white clothing. I go see one of my close friends and start talking to them. "It's time to go guys!" Commands our ministers. So we go and start singing our song for our entrance.

After all the other classes it was my class to go up and perform. I go up the stage and say my part. "Po o le a le leaga o saulo, an e fai ma ipu e maumaule lo na finangalo, ina ua salamo ma liliu atuatua i le Atua. Amene." I finish my part feeling proud of myself. I go down the stage and got ready to go up and do my dance.

Finally I am finished and now I am all relaxed and ready to hang out with my family. As always when white Sunday is finished we will go out or have a BBQ at a family members house.

Attitude Talk!

Attitude Talk!

Today's Attitude talk was amazing. We got to talk about lots of things that will happen to your body and that things will start to change!

Hair
Hair can grow everywhere! At the age of 8-12 things can change including your hair. Hair can start growing on your armpits, genitals, legs, arms and the face (For Boys)

Relationships Take Time!
If you want to have a relationship so badly then try and make friends with that person then see where it goes, but all you need to do is to be patient and wait. Cause we have lots of time to do those kinds of things.

Skin
Your skin can start changing time by time, your face can start getting unhealthy and starts damaging your skin. You can start getting pimples for eating unhealthy foods like diary. So if you start eating healthier your skin will get healthy just like your body.

Today team 5 had an attitude talk with Tony. We were talking about how our body starts changing and where things start changing.

Immersion Assembly

Another fresh start of term 4 getting ready to learn new things. As always the teachers will have some action to show us about what we are going to be learning! Well, let’s get started!

This terms them is Te Wa Toi which means art time! I am so excited to see what we are going to be learning about art. Well as always we go line up getting raised to see what the teachers have prepared for us students, all I know is that this term is going to be awesome!

I see Mr. Burt with his black clothing (Only Black) he had black shorts and a black top with his sandals which was funny, I wonder what was going to happen with him when I saw items on the table. All I could think of is. “Why is he wearing all black, are they going to splash paint of him?”

First up was team 1. Mrs. Hockly got her team to paint these weird looking things but actually, they were painting a puzzle of a lion. Team 1 will be going to the zoo and is going to be painting the different animals. Team 3 had an interesting kind of act, they had to try and make art by using their body’s.

Team 5 was one of my favorite items, they had an act that was very funny! What team 5 is going to be learning is that they are going to be making arts with meanings in it. I am excited to be doing art with my class.

There you have it this is what Pt England School is going to be learning. I will be going to enjoy learning these different kinds of skills in art. And hopefully that all the students will enjoy!

No Lunch For Me!

Have you ever left your lunch at home? Well guess what, I did and I am not happy about it. How would you feel if you left your lunch at home? Well keep on reading to see how I would feel about leaving my lunch.

Today we had our usual assembly at school and all I could think of is “Did I bring my lunch?” So I kept on thinking. I remembered that I went to the bakery to buy me and my siblings lunch, I went straight to my house to give the lunches to my siblings, right after that I left of to say goodbye to my mom, and then guess what… My lunch is on the bunch waiting for me to take it to school, Oh no… Dun Dun Dunnn.

Right after assembly I go straight to where my bag is and check my bag. And guess what, well obviously my lunch is not in my bag. Then I go to my seat and kept on thinking why I left my lunch at home oh well guess no lunch for me. “Diding Diding Diding!” Guess what guys it’s lunch time no lunch in my bag no lunch for me anywhere “Yay” I go sit with my friends while seeing them pulling out their lunches got me hungry but I just went to eat fruit from our school basket. That's what I get for no bringing my lunch!

Our Netball Prize Giving

Knowing that I was going to have Netball Prize Giving I really didn’t know who was going to have those 3 special certificates in my team, the three certificates are for the most improved, sportsmanship, and most valuable player.

I go and get ready for my prize giving, and get my Lollie lei for my coach. I go to my car and we start to drive off. All I could think of is. “Who is going to get the certificates?” We finally arrived so I go and sit where my team was sitting. I was excited when heard Miss Va'afusuaga voice so I focused on what she was saying.

First up was the year 8 teams and then my team the year 7 All-Stars. My team was coming close to going up the stage. “Give it up for the Year 7 All-Stars, come up girls.” Says Miss Va'afusuaga. So my team goes up and we go and get our certificates now it was time for the special certificates. Tehilla Loia got sportsmanship, Ayla Taringa got most improved and lucky last was… Me, Petesa Setefano for Most Valuable Player. I was so proud of myself for getting one of the special certificates!

I thank my coach Norelle Taringa for always supporting us girls to play better in every game we play and also Mrs. Va'afusuaga, without her, we wouldn’t be playing sports. So I would like to thank them for everything they do for us students!

My Wonderful Performance!

Today was one of the most anxious day of my life at school. I really didn’t want to do it but we had to. I had two of these wonderful islanders in my group Anna and Adrienne. Anna was one of our only Tongan dancers and I was proud of her to be in our group. What we had for uniform was a Lavalava and a Sei (Flower)

Today team 5 had to perform a performance in front of the  whole of team 5, we also had some of our Pt England students to watch witch was the team 2 kids. I was really nervous on who was going to be the first class but luckily it wasn’t my class.

First up was room 5 they had all different kind of skills and they were so talented. I could feel goosebumps going around my body witch got my way more nervous. I went to line up so that I can get ready to perform with my group. Then a while later it was our turn, we go up the stage with pride getting ready to perform our beautiful ma’ulu’ulu dance. I was really proud of my group because they danced delightfully and wonderfully.
