Technology Wood - Tech

I have chosen to make a box for myself. I think this is the best choice because I like how it looks, and I think that I would use it very well. It will be used for many things, like putting pens, secret notes, or money! Thank you Mr. Grundy! 

What Is The Perimeter? - Challenge 1

WALT: Find the area and perimeter of shapes. 

School Uniform? No Uniform?

School Uniforms? Or no School Uniforms. I have to say it is a pretty tough decision. Wearing school uniform is something that should make us proud, mufti clothing for school should only make us feel comfy throughout the school seasons. 

Not being able to wear school uniform makes the school look a bit old fashioned and messy. Getting dress code every time for wearing inappropriate piece of clothing. It is nice for other students to wear and show off there brand new clothes and wear them to school, but the bad thing about is that those piece of expensive clothing can end up in a bad situation for example, getting yogurt on your shirt, or a marker stain from your art lessons. Another thing is that it is probably hard to wear no uniform because you have to look for an outfit to wear to school, and make sure that it is appropriate to wear to school. 

School uniform is who I stand for. Why? It is because you get to represent your school with pride, and show of what school you go to. You don't need to look for an outfit you can just wear your uniform. You look more fancy and cleaner in uniforms and makes the school look very clean. It makes us students feel proud to wear our uniform and makes us feel like we belong at a school. 

I would recommend your school to wear uniforms, because it just looks better. It would make the students feel like they actually belong at a school, and it makes them feel good about themselves.   

"Heartbeat"

TASK DESCRIPTION - This weeks book we are reading this week is called. "Heartbeat." It's a very gripping book that caught my attention. As we always do, we read the book and answer some answers that has to do with book. 

My Painful Holiday

Just one little thing that had to ruin my holiday, I have sprained my ankle. It was very painful at first because I have never experienced such a thing like it. What happened to it is what your thinking? Well, what a normal person would have sprained there ankle.

 It was a sport cause, I have jumped and landed in a very stupid way, and rolled my ankle pretty bad. 

It was very uncomfortable at first but did get use to it through out the weeks. I had to see the doctors everyday to check my leg, and had to take x-rays. I had to wear a moon boot, and wore a cast after it, and nearly every two days a week I had to visit the doctor for a cast check up. 

I really didn't like sitting down not being able to do things, it was very difficult to use crutches everyday, and having to stay home. Sometimes it was alright due to my siblings and my parents doing everything for me.

I really didn't like my 2 week holidays but got use to the consequence. I really couldn't ask for better if didn't have to do anything. There was no chores for me, and no walking which was very hard. 

Now that my left leg is healed but not as fully, I am very happy that I can walk, but sadly can not play Netball for 2 weeks. 

Tom And His Mate The Look-Around

TASK DESCRIPTION - Do you have a special type of best friend that is a animal? Well, this weeks book we are reading is called. "Tom And The Look-Around." There is boy name Tom, and he had to sleep over his grandpa's, due to his mother that is working extra shifts. Tom was definitely not looking forward to staying over his grandpa's house for a week. Tom decided to go out fishing so that it would distract him from his anger. After a while Tom has meet a new friend of his and has called him the Look-Around. We then answered some few challenging questions to help us entertain in the book we have read.
